Just a Dream

Early in the morning I woke up,
I saw a bundle of white roses on my window side.
Wondering to whom did it come from,
was it came from a special someone?

Right away, I stood up to get it!
Excitedly open the card attached to it.
that said,
How are you my darling?
I miss so much!
See you at our rendezvous before sunset.
I LOVE YOU!!!
I was so happy after reading the message,
'coz finally he came back to me.

Just can't explain my happiness that day.
I was overwhelmed with my emotions.
Singing, dancing, walking here and there,
smiling even without companion.

I wanted the time to ran fast,
for I can't help myself waiting for sunset.
Keep on thinking what will happen when we meet.
Was he still the man with a solemn heart?

At around 3 P.M. I made myself ready.
I took a bath, dressed up and put a light make-up.
I wore the dress he bought for me,
for him to know that he is still welcome.

Finally, the most awaited time really came.
I went to our rendezvous to meet him.
From afar, I saw him standing,
looking and smiling at me.

My heart beats like a drum and I can't help it.
Therefore I stop for a while and took a deep breath.
I ran forward to embrace him.
But, when I about to reach him...
he's gone...

I'd closed my eyes and tears flowed like river.
And when I opened it, I found myself lying on my bed.
Oh, how I wish that it was all true
But it came out that it was just a dream.
Just a dream...
