Memories

by Pain Remains   Aug 10, 2006

How are we supposed to live with changes?
When it kills us deep inside,
Why are we forced to live with it?
Why's life so unkind?

We have to face life's cruelties,
We have to live with the pain,
We have to say goodbye to the ones we love,
Knowing life will never be the same,

I no we all have our hearts broke,
And we all cry our stinging tears,
But no ones felt a pain like this,
No one's felt such fear,

Fear of living life without her,
Life carrying on,
As though nothing has happened,
As though nothing is wrong,

But there is something wrong isn't there,
There's a hole left in our hearts,
And the biggest pain isn't losing her,
It's knowing we will always be apart,

We will always be separated from, our mum,
Grandmother and our friend,
Knowing she was a lady,
And she fought to the end,

Living without her custard
And her apple pies too,
No more chicken and stuffing,
What ever will Lynt and Dave do?

The time on holiday she shouted to Dan,
You dirty rotten swine,
We never let her live it down,
How we wish we could go back in time,

But these memories we'll talk and laugh about,
And keep them in our hearts,
Until finally it's our time to go,
And we will no longer be apart.
