The Unforgettable

by Aline   Aug 10, 2006

Words linger in my head scared to rise,
when seraphs flew down from skies.
wandered above your broken heart
wandered where the golden body lies.

Dear father whom i always wish to kiss
you soared to a place packed with bliss
and here we are remembering the old days
the old days we can never fail to miss

God had sowed you a blossom in the high
which is watered by the poise of His sky
watch me watch you every single day
watch me swab the tears i shall cry

i grasped love that once you can gain,
from your charade and wicked pain
so today i stand amid the fruitless days
to pure my ache from your heavenly rain.
