These Eyes

by Truest Lies   Aug 10, 2006

These eyes
That spill honey-sweet tears
Over their elegant lashes
Letting their taste flow down
Into the world

These eyes
That hide a song in their depth
Of words that we cannot hear

These eyes
That let us see so many things
In their deep blue reflection
While they drench us in their water
In their cleasing tears

These eyes
That have a million things to say
Of wisdoms to share
Immaturities to overcome

These eyes
The eyes of God
The sky...

These honey sweet tears
This pure rain
And when it falls on me
I'm so happy
I want to cry.
