If I could Fly Like You

by Mitchell   Aug 14, 2006

It would be just us two,
If I could fly like you...

And on the highest mountain peak,
Where the winds are so terribly bleak...

My wings will be your shelter,
Yet not enough to make you swelter...

I would hold you as I kissed your delicate lips,
We would fly to the moon, and partake in a Lunar eclipse...

We would pick up a star while we were there,
Sharing it with you is like walking on air...

But regrettably I don't have these wings,
So we cant do all these planned things...

But it is still just us two,
Even though I cant fly like you...
