Rekindled Loves Never Last

by Hamburger-Herm   Aug 15, 2006

She said she was leaving,
to a place I know nowhere.

I tried to make it easy,
shrugged my shoulders like i did't care.

I looked into her eyes,
could tell she was lieing.

Deep down in my sole,
my body was crying.

Should have known from the start,
this rekindled love would break my heart.

Should have known from the past,
REKINDLED LOVES NEVER LAST.

Thanks for taking a few seconds to read my poem ,now could you take the time to vote?
