Garden of Abandoned Secrets

by jessel jane   Aug 15, 2006

I saw each night the old dark castle...
and heard some hurting sobs.
The whispers of the lonely wind...
have caused some dreadly stabs.

It was so dark and solemn;
where the sun has failed to shine.
The darkness speaks of sudden death...
like the poison on my wine.

I saw each night that lonely girl
who cried on helplessly.
A captive to the castle's garden...
I wish to set her free.

I saw each night the old dark castle...
and that girl whose tears just fall
in the midst of its notorious garden
twas in my deepest soul.

It was so dark and solemn...
where the darkness stole its art.
I saw each night the old dark castle...
It was inside my heart.

Everyone has past secrets...
and for me, they keep on haunting.
Each night I am emprisoned;
I cant help myself from crying.

It's everynight I shed those tears
and said those past regrets.
I hid them all inside my heart...
my garden of abandoned secrets.

    ^^ Excellent simile! I loved that line!...Gawsh...Besides from that, the title was my favorite part to be honest with you! Very eye catchy!! You started off excellent and ended off better! All in all it was a great read!
