No Clue

by Tess   Aug 15, 2006

You threaten to hit her

You use verbal abuse

She just holds on to me, not know what to do

She's too young to understand, what you keep putting her through

Slowly, she begins to figure out all the reasons why I hate you

Sometimes when I watch her sleep, I'll see her shed tears.

Your hatred has gone through her heart likes spears

She's emotionally scarred and it will last for years

You are her most undying fear

It pains me to see her like this

All there is to blame is you

You just stopped parenting her and my poor little sister has no clue

Well written poem. Very short though, I'd like to see it a little longer. The structure was not that well, perhaps breaking it into stanzas would help instead of single lines.
