The Letter

by candy   Aug 15, 2006

I sit here and write you this letter
I know you will never be able to read
for you see god called you home already
but maybe after this letter
I will feel better
mother I want to apologize and I want to
protest yes you did your hardest for me
always tried your best
but as your daughter I made things rough
I argued with you at times
and did other stupid stuff
I thought you would always be here
by my side for many years
but god took you young and I now realize
nothing is forever and with tears in my eyes
I wish I could one more time
give you a hug and say I love you
to say I am sorry for all the trouble
I put you through
