Missing You

I think of what you're doing
I wonder where you are
The dreams you are pursuing
Always take you very far

I know we're not together
That you're apart of something new
But I can't forget when I remember
All those days I spent with you

It hurts to realize what's true
And even more knowing I had a chance
If only I had told you...
We could have shared one more dance

I don't know how to word this right
I have know idea what to say...
All I know is I dream of you every night
And think of you every day

I keep on thinking about all these things
And for some reason I can't quit
Sometimes I ignore the pain it brings
Because remembering you is worth it

Still, it burns so bad inside
To keep you alive in memory
But I cannot fight, I cannot hide
And keep you away from me

I feel alone, I am alone
Out here staring at the night sky
I love you; miss you, I'm on my own...
I wish, I pray, and then I cry...
