Running from Darkness

I feel darkness within, i feel darkness without
My mind is uncertain, my heart filled with doubt
I don't know where I'm being led
Because all i remember is that I fled.

I fled from fear, I fled from hate
I didn't want to fall and deteriorate
If I stayed with you, i'd be torn up inside
But I've run away now, and a part of me has died,

It died when I left you, I killed it I think
All i have now is my shadow and the drink
There's no way out, no running away
Because darkness is always here to stay.
