Dance in the moonlight

As i stand here
under the sky
while the mystic moon
shines up high
above me
stars shine bright
the night is dead
and i see a sight
so beautiful
toward me coming
a pastel frame
a frail body
my fingers outstretched
the bones beneath my skin
quiver and shake
i sit here and wait
you arrive here
so gentle yet so bold
my fingers outstretched and waiting
for you to take hold
above me the sky shines
like eyes watching
the gods watch us closely
and i sit here hoping
hoping that you take my hand
ask me to dance
and this night will last forever
this is my last chance
to prove
I'm no longer the same
i dance naked in the moonlight
and i am not ashamed!
