Liquid Sorrows

by Antigone Jackson   Aug 19, 2006

Liquid sorrows pour down my face,

My heart bandaged with lace.

And your face is all I see,

looking at me.

With those angelic eyes,

but behind them so many lies.

The beautiful angel I once knew,

has turned a demon, it's true.

Every last lie that left your lips,

cut through me like little clips,

of needles peircing my heart.

I should have seen this from the start,

but my love blinded me.

Now my heart is anything but free.

How could I ever love again?

I guess this is the end.

So do me one last thing,

let me die with a bang.

Shoot me straight through the heart and set me free,

For I always knew you'd be the death of me.
