She's so afraid to love
And so afraid to care

She's ashamed of herself
She hates the realization of her past
How she feels is too hard to tell

She's drawn to abusive guys
In physical and emotional ways
The tears that fill her eyes
Don't fall, the tear reflection stays

She's so afraid to cry
She thinks she deserves pain
When a tear falls, she wants to die
And this theory will drive her to be insane

Hope is walking into her life
An opposite guy loves her now
She believes that it isn't right
But she can't write that out as a vow

Opposites do attract
Maybe this is what she needs
He always seems to come back
Every time she falls and bleeds

He's a good person to her
He cares so much about her too
Now i think she is sure
That she knows the right thing to do

Its time to let the cuts heal
The scars WILL always remain
But now it's time to feel
