An absolute miracle

by Amanda Lynne   Aug 19, 2006

Common scenes depict content warm smiles, embracing hands & the utter feeling of something beautiful.

As I smile at the passerbys, my heart clenches itself, my hands fall limp to my side, my walk steady.

Red roses.

Red wine.

Red wrists.

Red eyes.

Have you ever felt as though the only thing thatd save you from yourself, from the things surrounding, was an absolute miracle?

Old white bed sheets sing of past remarks.

Pictures carried in my heart speak of tears meant to fall.

My beliefs make a turn for the worst,

My ways falter.

What I miss is love.

Have you ever felt as though the rain shares your sorrow as it pours, drop by drop, your sanity slowly fleeting?

All thats needed is an absolute miracle.

My heart has been sent across seas, the one I want, drifting aimlessly across the country.

Please come home.

I want to feel your heart beat with mine.

I want red roses.

I want red wine.

I no longer want red wrists.

Id like you to kiss away red eyes.

Id like to keep my sanity.

Please tell me this is for keeps.

To lose another round would kiss me, kill me.

Itd be my farewell, my end.

Common scenes portray forever, rose petals sprinkled down a white tile floor leading to the opening of a romance.

As I smile at the scene, at the story, my heart clenches itself, my hands fall limp to my side, my breathing steady.

Too imperfect to fall under loves mercy, bleeding the imperfection through shining blades.

I must release this toxin, I must find something real.

Have you ever felt as though youd be better off leaving, running as fast as you can, your heart pounding to the rhythm of your feet, tears slashing your cold cheeks, lost, broken, confused?

I want to smile and feel my heart sigh.

My hands being held by another, falling under loves mercy.

Have you ever had your hopes and dreams ripped from you before you ever even got a chance to get there?

Please stop this beating heart.

Please save me from myself.

Please save me from this life.

Please dont give and just take away.

Please send me an absolute miracle.
