Angels

The angels of earth
Take care of us
They`re full of love
They`re full of trust

Fighting away enemies
Protecting our lives
Protecting your children
Your husbands and wives

When push comes to shove
They take our side
They're never scared
They never hide

They tell us it's okay
They're modern day heroes
I'm sure that they have pain
Yet it never shows

These angels I speak of
Are not magic at all
But they're actually soldiers
They come big and small

They have such courage
To put their lives in danger
To keep this society going
To protect us from a stranger

The next time you see a soldier
And you just walk right by
Turn around and say thank you
They're like the angels from the sky
