Single Tear In The Rain

by Amori   Aug 21, 2006

Sitting in the dark, she cried. Her black tears stained the paper rose he left for her. She was dying. Slow and painfully she was dying. The tormenting disease that grew within her was spreading throughout her body and binding her heart and he left her to battle the pain alone. Rain fell on her empty face, slowly mixing with the tears of a forgotten lover. But she did not hate him. She did not blame him for her pain as she laid down on the soft grass as the sky cried for the life that she had lost.
