A loveless girl...

by broken reflection   Aug 22, 2006

A loveless girl,
Walks the eternal plains of doom,
The sight of another horizon of nothingness makes her hurl...

She becomes consumed,
By the tidal of gloom,
Wishing she would die,
Thinking how much she'd rather be in a tomb.

Its cold,
Her body aches,
Her bones shake,
Her mind is in the midst of unfolding.

What is happening?
What did I do wrong?
Her ears begin to ring,
As she bleeds,
She hears a sweet sound, music, a song...

But the words she cannot hear,
The source she cannot see,
Has she gone insane?
Has she finally lost her mind?

She opens her once shut eyes,
And sees nothing but black,
Taken by surprise...

She flies backwards,
Continuing as if a cannon, has just expelled her...
She screams, she curses, she cries, her eyes blur,
Until she stops, drops and lies beside a sword.

Naturally she picks it up,
But it crumbles in her hands like dust,
The music was just a lure,
She was uneasy, unable to trust...

She knew what was going to happen,
She was going to die,
Unable to stop her flowing tears,
She continues to cry...
She gives in to her fears.

Falling to her knees,
She pleads...
"Please I do not want to die just yet,
I have never been loved."

She has disappeared from earth's existence,
She is forgotten,
And love is her one lost experience.

My greatest fear!
