Blaming herself

Just a poem I wrote to myself about a friend....

Save her from his grip,
stop him holding tight,
Try your best to comfort her,
and hold her through the night,

Try to stop the fighting,
save her from the pain,
Wipe up all her tears,
don't let him hurt her again,

Pray for her tonight,
and hope she'll be okay,
Wish her all the best,
for every single day,

She always blames herself,
for what these evil people do,
Don't just turn and walk away,
cause what if this were you?

    This sounds a lot like two things in my life right now...So I really 'felt' the poem. Nicely done.. Good rhyming as well, wasn't forced at all.
