Mummy, Am I Invisible?

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Aug 23, 2006

You never said hello when I said hi
You turned away, and said goodbye
It's hard for a small child to understand
Why their mommy won't hold their hand

It hurts a small child when they cry
And their mommy doesn't ask why
It's a horrible way to live
When your mommy has no love to give.

You never said you loved me
I can't even remember if you hugged me
But mommy, I do remember the time
You hit me with the wood to put me back in line

It's sad that I have no good memories of you then
And I never got to have any, you died when I was ten.
So I guess it doesn't matter now if I say hi
Cos you can't speak, but this time, you didn't even say goodbye.
