Summer's Last Goodbye

by Twisted Heart   Aug 23, 2006

The distant dream of summer love
Has ended with a sad goodbye
An Autumn glow has now replaced
The light of a celestial sky.

Two young lovers who found each other
Upon the sand traps on the beach
Now hold hands and make a promise
The love they shared, they'd keep.

The moonbeams capture their silhouettes
As they share a final kiss
Together for one moment more
Surrendering to nocturnal's bliss.
