Bring back Society's Answers

by Nicole Ling   Aug 23, 2006

All the answers are taken only questions remain. The solutions have been washed up upon the shore a long time ago. They have withered in the sun and eroded away years ago.

We are all crawling on the floor just begging for more abuse from our tormentors. It is pointless for redemption unless we release ourselves from the chains that hold us back. When we are faced with only our emotions to reckon with how do we handle them? Do we accept and become better people or do we shy away from the self evident truths. Slinking back into the deepest depths of our blackest debauched way of life.

Do not let the depraved interferences of others to dictate our own destinies. Do not let the innocent die in the street but become better and help the helpless, believe in the unbelievable. Return society back to decentness. Return the answers, let them be realized. Never go back to nothingness. A stagnant cesspool of a world, let not happen ever again.

Become innocent as children and white as doves in everything. Our minds and our bodies let become clean. All we can do is try, try to realize the wonder of life. Amazement itself is found in the most unexpected places. Let us accomplish this most important task to help and be helped by our efforts to improve society.

I absolutetly love this!It echoes the themes of society and modern culture I've expressed in so many of my poems.I like that it is written in a poetry/prose type style, but it is the meaning and message that truly shine through. It says so much!Very impressive!
