Dance

by Kari Gibson   Aug 26, 2006

As soon as my feet are in those shoes,
There's no point in trying, you already loose,
You can't get my attention for anything in the world,
And it would be to big of lie to say that I am bored,
I drift away,
I never want to stop or lay,
And when I get done,
I'll think the pain is worth the fun,
Dance is more than a sport to me,
It's a passion, it sets me free,
The blisters, blood, and very sore feet,
Make it very easy to want to take a seat,
But I know I'd never quit,
Its like a candle that is always lit,
My passion for dance will never go away,
It came when I was young, and is here to stay.
