Unnoticed

by Dwain   Mar 8, 2004

As the leaves fall down
I am another of the flock
A leaf amongst the heap
All unnoticed

Our falling out is the talk of the town
I’m playing against the clock
A paradox of restless sleep
I go unnoticed

I’m the horse who lost the Triple Crown
The kid who missed the shot
The widow who is left to weep
Again I go unnoticed
