It comes unbidden
I cannot reason why.
A crevasse
in a perfect world.
Gloom seeps out
a wound
weeping.
The sides resist,
my grip
loosening.
I reach out
all I meet is air.
Clutching wildly
lack of substance
literally.
Dense black
swims into my eyes,
my soul,
my heart.
I am
drowning.
Away
from the light.
Turn
turn
to a path shown
and bask
Alive in light
not drowning
in darkness.
Show me.
