My emptiness

by tiffany   Aug 30, 2006

Don't stand there and judge me
when you don't really know
what goes on within me
things i don't like to show.

But you're an exception
so come take my hand.
I'll lead you into my darkness
and we'll see how you fend.

Deep in my soul now
it's getting hard to see,
there's no light inside here.
It's everything but free.

All my weaknesses are here
you can count, there are many.
Wouldn't it be nice
if they were each worth a penny?

We're down at the bottom now
with all my ghouls on display.
Do you want to run away now?
Or would you like to stay?

You could become one of them
a dark dirty secret.
No one would have to know
It's a promise i won't forget.

Be a part of my darkness
my emptiness, my soul.
Be a part of me forever
and no sadness you'll know.

For you see down in here
there are no emotions to speak off.
There's no depression, no love
no happiness, it's just numb.

So my don't you stay awhile
and become a part of my endeavor.
I will always be there for you
and we'll live numbly on forever.
