One Last Time

No one told me that I'd find you.
No one said a love could be true.
Here I'm standing in front my love
It's like looking at the skies above.

I touch your soft gentle skin.
You kiss my lips again and again.
I close my eyes it takes me away.
I didn't know I'd lay here today.

All of my past is forgotten and done
I know in my heart you're the one.
I can tell when you grab my hand.
I can see it when you kiss my head.

I rub my fingertips across your face
I look into an angel's loving grace.
I stare into your green eyes.
I feel your body against mine.

I stroke your thin brown hair.
Then a kiss I gently share.
You hold me tight in your arms.
I lay upon your chest so very warm.

"I Love You", you tell me in my ear.
You kiss me, my eye gives a tear.
You ask why I'm sad and why I cry.
I'm happy as can be, you're my life.

I can't hold those tears back at all.
You make me so weak that I fall.
Only tears of joy fall from this girl.
Tears of being someones world.

I tell you softly, "I Love You Too."
No one loves as much like you do.
You ask me if I mean what I say.
I say yes, why you think that way?

You tell me you never felt so strong
You didn't think it'd last this long.
I tell you I agree, I felt that too,
but I'm now standing here with you.

You ask if I'll ever leave your site,
I couldn't imagine that sad life.
I tell you no, not in a million years.
You hug me so close and so near.

We walk together hand in hand
on the beach with feet in the sand.
We see the sun sink into the sky.
You kiss me so long one last time.
