Someone.

by Megann Lee   Aug 30, 2006

She can't help but cry.
Knowing she's done so much wrong.
In a life that's so short.
Every mistake ever made.

Wishing she could take them back.
One by one she counts.
Tears falling from her eyes.
The memories lingering.

Oh how she wishes nothing had happened.
How it should have been easier.
Someone should have hugged her.
Held her, telling her it's okay.

Someone to help her up.
When she hit her all time low.
Just one person to show they care.
Was it to much to ask she thinks.

Rising up wards, her hands raising out.
She screams out loud.
Hoping someone might hear.
And come rushing to her aid.

Yet, her cries fall on deaf ears.
And yet again, everything.
Shatters, slamming against her.
Ten times harder then before.

The blows, breaking her down.
Till she is merely nothing.
But a suicidal child.
Longing for something more then she is..
