Like Heaven

There's a cool breeze blowing across my face
This is a moment I could never replace
Stars are twinkling above me, in the sky
& fireflies are flying slowly by.

I can hear the crickets, calling to me
The sight's so beautiful, under this willow tree
I can smell the lily's that are all around,
This moment is so perfect, I don't want to make a sound.

Rain drops start to fall from the beautiful midnight sky,
I like the way it feels, this I cannot deny
One drop turns to two & these accumulate to more
More drops begin to fall,& it begins to pour.

The rain then starts to stop, the sun is starting to rise,
The sun is shinning bright to day, I have to close my eyes.
I start walking through a field, filled with lily's that smell so sweet
I come here to get away, It's my secret retreat.

There's dew upon the grass. There's bee's up in the sky,
I just take it all in, and give out a happy sigh.
It's time, I'm ready for the brand new day.
This is like heaven, in a way.
