No One

by Hind   Sep 1, 2006

She was beautiful
Beautiful as could be
But no one really knew
The pain withheld beneath

No one knew of the drugs she took
Because she felt small
No one knew how high she left
Just to take a great fall

No one knew the hate she had
Just for being born
No one knew how many times
Her heart was ripped and torn

Everyone when with the fake smile
They were all being deceived
No one knew the reality
For that was hidden beneath

Pretty good poem, although I personally think the 'great' in the last line of the second stanza would make it flow better. But I really like the meaning of the poem and you expressed it well. 5/5
