Ignorence Is Bliss

by Megann Lee   Sep 1, 2006

Just smile, and walk on by.
It hasn't stopped you before.
So don't let it stop you now.
Ignorance is bliss you know?

Don't look back to see.
If I'm crying, tearing at the seems.
Just keep on stepping.
I'll be fine like always.

These memories seem to haunt.
My every waking moment.
I swear I can still smell your Cologne.
And the sound of your feet as you walk off.

I'm left to sit and wonder.
About everything I've done wrong.
The things that actually made you leave.
Just smile and walk on by me.

I try to smile, be like you.
Hold my head high.
Get on with life.
But you left, with no goodbye.

I've thought it over baby.
I'm fine now, and I know you are gone.
My conclusion for you, I'm sure you know to well.
Ignorance Is Bliss, Darling.

The last lonely poem without a comment. lol. Well, i think this one is very good. The ending is good, how you just get over him. Very well written, once again. Keep it up. =] 5/5
