Alice

by argueing with the rain   Sep 2, 2006

I am Alice. i have fallen into the rabbit hole. tumbling further an further until i land in some strange world. nothing looks familiar. nothing looks safe. so many weird creatures are telling me what to do. but i can't make sense of the riddles they tell me. what kind of dream world have i entered? does it have an escape? this must be my imagination, this can't possibly be real. i start to walk forward, trying to navigate the many roads. i run into a cheesier cat. he holds the answers, but he hides them in his words. I'm trying to make sense of this place. what warped intelligence created it? this world has become my prison. my personal hell. there is no escape from it. i must learn to accept its sick and disturbing beauty. i must learn to function in it., because i will never be allowed to leave. i have become an inmate in my own mind.
