I think I love you.

by Megann Lee   Sep 2, 2006

What would you do; if I told you "I think I love you"?
Would you notice, just how red my cheeks suddenly grew.
Or would you laugh, saying it's all bull.
Would it help, if I was being serious, and suddenly showed it.

What would you say, I wasn't kidding in the slightest way.
Would you suddenly stare at me, like I was a freak.
Wondering how I could of said something that was rather very sweet.
And actually mean the words I have spoken.

Could you deal with knowing just how I feel.
Or would everything suddenly fail to piece together.
And I'm left with a broken mess, that can't be fixed.
Should it have been said, or kept in my head.

Was I right or wrong, for being straight forward.
In doing something, I have grown to stay away from.
Never being upfront and honest, knowing that all good things must end.
Fearing those five words, could ruin everything I stand on.

Everything I happen to believe in, could just be gone due to way I speak.
Maybe it's best if nothing is said, and the smiles will last.
And the feelings can linger, and I will go on.
