I Wish I Was My Cat

by Twisted Heart   Sep 3, 2006

One night I wished upon a star
That I'd change places with my cat
Because she is so spoiled
And she fancies being that.
Her bed is where she falls asleep
Her fur is soft and warm
No one ever bothers her
When she uses all her charm.
She doesn't have chores to do
And we all aim to please
Whatever she desires
We deliver respectfully.
She lazes round the house all day
And when she makes a mess
I am the one to clean it up
Which I hate, I must confess.
Everyone just loves her
She gets all the attention
When she takes a stroll outside
and chases birds off of fences.
So I hope, my dream comes true
And I can be my cat
Then she would have to pamper me
Can you Imagine that.
