Floating for space

by Todd   Sep 3, 2006

As my eyes roll back into the haze
Far off wandering and dreamily glazed
My conjugations just a shifting phase
For all my placid composure
Across my face a wave breaks
And I find myself floating for space

All the foundations and limitations raze
A shelter that acted the part of a sufficient cage
Erected with art by men of clay
And I find myself floating for space

\"Brahman I lay no wood for fires on altars,
Only within burns the flame I kindle\"

Only in constant orbital grace
The mind runs inexhaustible while the limbs laze
And in my dreams it\'s all commonplace
And in my dreams it\'s all commonplace

Perception reflects the gaze of the beholder
gathered close to him in pools and lakes
And I find myself yearning for space
For space
For space
