Who knew?

There is this person that means so much to me,
I'm nothing but smiles when it's her I see!
It was my freshman year when we met,
That year is a year I will never forget!

The first time that she stayed the night,
I was so scared and full of fright.
I slept on the floor and not in the bed,
I laid there and watched her rest her sweet head!

We grow closer and closer each passing minute,
Who knew? Her heart I'd win it!
Sometimes we fight but it doesn't last long,
2 and a half years now and still going strong.

Life is going by at a very fast pace,
But my heart skips a beat when I see her cute face.
Her beautiful blue eyes and her soft skin,
Who knew? Her heart I'd win!

Sometimes it kills me we are so far apart,
Maybe in distance but never in heart.
I loved this girl from the first time we met,
Her touch, Her face, I could never forget!

Recently we got in a very bad fight,
I was sleepless night after to night.
I would lay and think would my baby come back to me,
Was I still to her worthy?

She needed a break to think about stuff,
I must admit for me this was tough.
She didn't talk to me very much,
It had been a long time since I had felt her touch.

I knelt on my knees night after night,
Praying to god everything would be alright.
You see this girl means so much to me,
Without her I just Couldn't be.

She told me to trust her and that's just what I did,
Even though I was acting just like a kid.
She forgave me and asked for me to come back,
You see for those couple of days a best friend I did lack.
I can't explain the feeling of relief that came over me,
You see that night my baby I would get to see.
To this day she holds the key to my heart,
Well be together for ever and never apart.
Maybe in distance but never in heart.

I love you buddy with all my heart,
I knew this from the very start.

Don't worry buddy I'll be here till the end.
