Every "I Love You"

by Jenn   Sep 4, 2006

When you reach the bottom you're stuck like glue
Their words mean something, every "I love you"
But stand them up against Death's perfect white
And suddenly life is blacker than the night

Try to tell someone the answer to it all
You'll get a blank face and that person will stall
What can they say, we're all dead one by three
Picked up off the ground with His courtesy

It's easy to question lies that life can tell
Because inside we know the answer is Hell
There is no purpose to what Death can do
But how much life is in "I love you"
