The tattoo wrapped around her wrist
Read "I've been here, I did this"
A small little ribbon to cover her scars
Her new beginning, She wished upon a star
She wanted to forget her past
That seemed forever long to last
She met him in a late night bar
He took her home in his fancy car
And now they're due to wed next June
For her it all just seemed so soon
He made her smile
He made her life
He took her pain
He took her knife
Now she had no more reason to wonder why
No need to cut and bleed and sit up late to cry
All her hurt is finally gone
He had saved her from self harm
