Life on earth (Resubmitted)

by Amanda   Sep 5, 2006

Short and simple....

Whistling in the wind,
I hear the strangest cry,
I get up out of bed,
and look up to the sky,

Darkness all around me,
shadows everywhere,
Night time is upon us,
it's silent way up there,

Watching shooting stars,
looking at the moon,
Hours flying past,
morning's coming soon,

Dawn breaks the silence,
with the cockerels morning call,
I think how lucky I am,
to be living on earth at all!

Sorry, Just in one of those happy moods. Mainly thinking of what I have and how lucky I am to be alive.
