The Last Time I Saw You

by Kyle161817   Sep 5, 2006

I see you walking toward me
Arms crossed beneath your chest
The flesh of your hand touches mine
As I smell your strong sweet breath

Your face looks new to me
But it seems like I know you
Your deep blue eyes stare into mine
Your lovely face is so devine

I look at you and you back at me
We both just stand there like willow trees

You sweeten your face with a welcoming smile
Our lips become bonded like they haven't in a while

You release your embrace
And stare back into my face
A tear rolls down your cheek
My legs become weak

You release your hold upon my hand
These last moments seem so grand
I take a last look upon your face
I tell you I love you, then walk away
