Where Have You Gone?

by Macabre   Sep 6, 2006

In this dark and fearsome world,
There's one place I feel at home.
Like a pinwheel being twirled,
I find with you I'm not alone.

Like and inescapable reverie,
you make each day worth living.
I held your hand, so carefree.
You were full of love, and giving.

You're so different since then,
I reember you were happy, too.
But now I'm stuck not knowing when
I'll have the chance to be with you.

We're both so busy growing,
I'm afraid you want to forget me.
I'm sure by now my pain is showing
or maybe you're too blind to see.

I miss the good old days,
when we lived only for each other,
It's almost as if you've changed your ways,
could there, perhaps, be another?
