Mind, Heart and Soul

by Twisted Heart   Sep 6, 2006

Let not your mind linger, upon the thoughts of woe
But let it sing blessings of what the future holds
To have within it's grasp, the inkling of a smile
Would do you well to dream upon it for awhile
A love so deep that sorrow blends with hope and grace
Springs eternally there within the hands of fate
Take hold love's sweet passion in your heart so divine
And let it carry you to another place and time.

For if true love is what your heart is truly seeking
Then with it comes a bitterness while it's teaching
A heart is just a memory of forgotten days
So let it have the wings to fly so it will stay.
Don't close it up in a darkened shell, give it light
And It will give you comfort on those lonely nights
Your mind and heart will work together with your soul
And give you so much more than your hands could ever hold.
