Internal Corruption

by .]Robz[.   Sep 8, 2006

Everywhere I look,
Everywhere I turn,
For eternity and on,
Will our world burn.

Hate and corruption,
Is so transparent.
Everyone teaches it to us,
Even our parents.

This generation is corrupt,
Internal volcanos errupt.
Truth and lies, unable to discern,
Who cares, no one will ever learn.

Love is lost,
Love is dark.
Pain at any cost,
Pain for every spark.

So what keeps me going,
In this world full of lies,
Is it hope, or faith?
I ask the endless skies.

I look up waiting,
In the darkness, hoping.
For every little thing,
I have done to bring,
Hatred upon my siblings.
So I look up waiting,
For God's angelic blessing.
