Autumn's Corner

by Twisted Heart   Sep 8, 2006

The earth is cooling in the wake of summer
The trees are deeming such a festive hue
Bright colors are the leaves that fall
It's Mother Nature's call to you.
The crisp wind blows the earth's cool face
As morning's dew coats the ground
The trees shiver with antisipation
And moans a woeful sound.
The hot summer days slip into slumber
No longer warming the gentle streams
Our summer attire we're putting away
Making use of our jackets and jeans.
