Love's Little Walk

by Bill Turner   Sep 8, 2006

I was taking a trip, a little journey called life
Facing all my trials and tribulations alone
Content to slay my dragons and face my demons
Then I saw the eyes of passion and grace
Surrounded by your beautiful face

Shot with the thunderbolt of love
I became captivated by all you offer
Afraid to bare my soul, yet drawn to you
Wanting to hold you in my arms that night
Afraid should we not share the same sight

Wandering ever after, my mind filled with you
My heart calling to you, crying out for your love
Unable to take that first step back to you
Finally conquering the fear that gripped me
Your love setting my heart free

Whether near or far I hold you always in my heart
Feeling the love of my twin soul, my partner in life
Amazed at how good my world has become where we are
Knowing that we will always be in love, together
Knowing that this is the love of a lifetime, now and forever
