Just When I Thought That It Would End

by Truest Lies   Sep 8, 2006

Trying not to sound cliche,
But what else am I supposed to say.
Invent new words to express,
This inner happiness.
Feeling like a bird,
Freed from a fragile cage,
Don't know why life's so confusing,
Maybe it's just the age.
The puzzle falls in place,
I find my perfect face,
No need to hide myself,
Not anymore, because I'm fine,
I'm freed now, Alive now,
I'm healing,
And I can say "I've tried now."
Will admit that it's not perfect,
And little things get in the way,
But what do you want me to say?
The world's spinning right again,
Just when I thought, that it would end
There is no right,
There is no wrong,
All that I did,
Was sing a song.
I raise my hands up to the sky,
Someone just answered me eternal "Why?"
I'm testing you,
Protecting you,
Loving and reflecting you,
Onto the face, of my small earth,
This is not the end,
I've found my worth.
