Invisible

by Lucy Lewin   Sep 9, 2006

She sits all alone
in her corner of shame,
and nobody sees her.
She's invisible.

They don't see her pain,
Her wrists, her tear-streaked face.
Nobody pays her any mind.
She's invisible.

People don't talk to her,
look at her, love her.
They don't know she exists.
She's invisible.

They never showed her
that they cared.
She felt unnoticed.
She felt invisible.

Now she's gone
and they regret it all.
She was a nobody.
She was invisible.
