Maddness of imagination

by Flying Phoenix   Sep 10, 2006

Drifting slowly, wordless verse
Unknown letters swallow and curse
Down by the edge of the mindless flow
Alone by your thoughts
Drifting alone go

Senseless meanings and roundabout line
Puzzling, confusing, the ends of time
No clicking is heard except a creaking sigh
Along aside the waterfall
As time flows by

Vowels and consonants swim peacefully on
Amidst the sea of learning with that alphabet song
Grasping the nouns and verbs to create
Clutching upon these weapons
Weapons of hate

Physical actions do not matter up here
Only what the mind reads have we to fear
Or the imagination of newcomers lost
Wandering around aimlessly
Not knowing their cost

Chaotic reason and gentle war
All travel on peacefully as they have done before
This unimaginable place hidden from sight
My secret thoughts
Formed in the night
