There You Are At The Door

by Chris Rodriguez   Sep 11, 2006

Ten o' clock and the bell's about to ring
Explaining how life holds meaning
I was ready to go on
To except you were gone
Some things just go wrong

And there you are at the door
I remembered all my dreams before
But you weren't in them with me
I know what I'm seeing
But why do I still feel like I'm falling
Down

This is it, don't back down
Now she's here but she won't turn around
It's the dreams that we pay
Everyday
Is this real?
I couldn't say
Is it all in my head?
Or is my twisted logic right instead

And there she is at the door
I remembered all the times I fell on my face
When I wanted to leave without a trace
From this place
I know we land somehow
So why do I feel like I'm falling
Down

Here in my symphony of sounds
Can they hear me, Can she see me?
I know she can't
But I'm about to change that

And there you are at the door
I was ready to go on
Some things just go wrong
