Iberia

Just another bird in the sky
We make our last desperate cry
Taking a plane to nowhere in particular
But it just seems so very peculiar
Never thought I would miss this place
She was just another pretty face

So you can say music is my airplane
When you're riding the river of wind
You don't regret what you did
But what you didn't do

Didn't tell the truth of where I was going
I'm another rock rolling
Someone help me I'm rolling out of control
You got me running, but just one more time

I'm so tired of what could've been
I gotta be my own relief
She said that there are many of us like you
Lost in confusion caring less of what to do

My two worlds are colliding
Growing, trying to keep my roots
For those of you who think fate is but a joke
Listen when fate meets me
It begins to howl

So you can say music is my airplane
When you're in the city of nothing
You don't regret what you said
Only what you didn't say

Whatever that girl did she has a hold on me
Just let go of me
Let me break free
Like a dream we stagger through life
And in life we look for the dream

So I drank the last of my wine
And it's true what they say
It makes you forget
But the emptiness was still there
It's a filling falsehood

The night filled my head with blood
God what i need now is some sort of release
I can't get no relief
No

So you can say music is my airplane
When you're dazed and confused
You don't miss the people you thought you would
You miss the people who don't love you
